Matthew accepts briefs in practice across civil and criminal jurisdictions.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Matthew worked as a lawyer at the New South Wales Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. During that time, Matthew spent two-and-a-half years as an advocate in a specialist team prosecuting high profile and complex crime and crimes committed by New South Wales police officers.
Matthew has appeared in most jurisdictions including the Supreme Court, Federal Circuit Court, District Court, Local Court, Children’s Court and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Prior to his admission to practice as a lawyer in 2013, Matthew worked in in-house roles at Screen Australia, the Chartered Insurance Institute London and the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (nee ComSuper). Matthew graduated with Honours in Law in 2009.


Matthew was awarded the Thompson Reuters prize for first place in an Honours thesis 2009.
