Owen accepts briefs in all areas of law.

Before he was called to the Bar, Owen was the Associate to Judge McHugh SC and Judge Abadee at the District Court of New South Wales and a solicitor at Mills Oakley. While a solicitor, Owen acted in a range of disputes matters at first instance and in appeals, including in building & construction, general equity, and torts.

Owen graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) and received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Law. He teaches and examines civil law subjects at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and previously at Macquarie University.
